Here is a job we recently built for a company in Shreveport, La. AJ Weller will Clad them before selling them to a chemical company.

For those of you that don’t know, Clad is a hardened welded surface applied to the inside of products for longer lasting wear.

This is called a “Spar Tee.” The chemical that passes through it is a very abrasive material. To hold it, we crafted it out of 309 stainless steel and has a 1-inch thick carbon steel mounting flange with two round holes on one side and 1 1/4-inch carbon steel mounting flange on the opposite side.

We completed it in June 2010.
